Our Dress Code of Preferred Attire
Highlawn Pavilion’s dress code welcomes a refined casual approach to dining so that are guests are at ease during their visit yet still feel comfortable within a more formal dining atmosphere, particularly in our main dining room. Guests of the bar, Piano Room, and outdoor patio may opt for a somewhat less dressy attire.
Jackets are optional for gentlemen, however, collared shirts are required, whether button-down or polo in style. If denim is must, a well-kept pant in a dark wash is what we favor.
For ladies, the common preference worn is a smart casual dress or a nice blouse with full pants and dress shoes.
Although we don’t like to infringe on our diners’ sense of personal style, we kindly ask that sneakers, sandals, and shorts are reserved for walks in the Reservation. Please refrain from wearing hats in the dining room.
If you are visiting Highlawn Pavilion for a wedding, special celebration, or other private event, we certain invite you to dress as formally as will be appropriate for the significance of the occasion. Being overdressed is never a concern.
These guidelines are not intended to be overly restrictive of your personal appearance, but more to help provide a sense of what to expect when visiting Highlawn Pavilion so all guests are free to enjoy themselves without concern for personal presentation.
If you have any specific questions regarding attire, we welcome a call to 973.731.3463.
